TEACHING & TRAINING

The EDR Program is a national leader in providing professional training on topics related to collaboration, conflict resolution, negotiation, facilitation, and leadership. We also teach academic courses and mentor students.

We offer our flagship EDR Program Collaboration Certificate Course annually. The course teaches mid- and upper-level professionals working on environment and natural resource issues the art and science of collaborative problem-solving through lectures, case studies, peer-to-peer sharing, discussion, and simulation exercises. Participants put the concepts and skills learned through the course into action in a real-life setting by assessing readiness for and designing a collaborative process.

We also design tailored virtual and in-person trainings to meet the needs of organizations, teams, and cohorts. See the training overviews below for examples of trainings we have developed for organizations around the country and internationally.
